One word that every Marine, Sailor, or Coasty knows is CORPSMAN. They are continuously putting themselves in harms way to help their fellow brothers that have fallen. And, putting their own safety last. For that reason I have decided to honor them and design a Combat Wounded Corpsman pin. It took a long time to get it to where I was completely satisfied with the look. And, the wait was well worth it. The pin is entirely done in 2D and 3D. The wings, the staff, Purple Heart, and the Combat Wounded tab is in 2D which simply means that those images are not flat, and with complete definition. However, I found 2 snakes facing each other with their mouths wide open. They are done in 3D which means that they stand out above the 2D, but I then had a screen print overlay put on top of the 3D to add color. The pin is 2" wide x 1.75" high with 2 posts on the back, and finished in shiny gold. If you were or know a Combat Wounded Corpsman then this pin would be an outstanding addition to your vest, jacket, or hat.
