I have been working on this pin for the last few months and it just arrived today. No matter what you flew in the Army or when, people will immediately know that you are a Combat Wounded Pilot. This recreation is an exact replica of your original wings, only I've added a Purple Heart below to show that you were wounded in combat. The wings are 1.5" across and .75" high and there are 2 posts on the back to keep it in place. This is an absolute must if you were awarded a Purple Heart
